The Chennai-based bikemaker recently launched the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 in two variants – Retro and Metro. While the entry-level Retro model costs Rs 1.50 lakh, the Metro has been priced between Rs 1.64 lakh – Rs 1.69 lakh depending on colour options. Compared to the RE Bullet, it’s slightly more expensive. After the Hunter 350, the company will bring in the new-generation Royal Enfield Bullet 350 towards the end of 2022 or in early 2023. Its official launch date and details are yet to be revealed.
The new 2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 will retain the original retro design with elements such as round headlamp, rear view mirrors, indicators, pilot lights and taillamp. In order to give it a refreshing look, the bikemaker will give a chrome treatment around its headlamp, taillamp and rear view mirror.
The all-new Bullet 350 has a single-piece stepped seat that’s expected to offer better lumbar support. The bike will also get the wide handlebar, a curvy fuel tank, wire-spoke wheels and single-sided exhaust canister. Suspension duties will be performed by the conventional telescopic forks upfront and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The bike will derive its braking power from the front disc and rear drum brakes, which will be further assisted with a single-channel ABS (antilock braking system). Similar to the new-generation Classic, the all-new Bullet will source its engine from the Meteor 350. That means, there will be a 346cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor paired to a 5-speed gearbox. The unit pushes out a peak power of 20.2bhp and 27Nm of torque. The new 2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 will switch to the brand’s new ‘J’ platform that underpins the RE Meteor and new-gen Classic 350.
Prices of the new RE Bullet will be more or less similar to the current model. Though, it will cost slightly higher than the newly-launched Royal Enfield Hunter 350.
