Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 Final Model Spotted – Launch Soon

Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 could be the next big launch from the Chennai-based bikemaker in India. The recent sighting of the model suggests it might hit roads by the end of 2022 or in early 2023. One must note that its official launch date and details are yet to be revealed. The Super Meteor 650 was recently caught on camera in its final production avatar revealing its design details.

The test mule features a retro-style round headlamp with a non-adjustable, large windshield placed above it. The bike has chromed crash guards, road-biased tyres, alloy wheels, forward footpegs, a low slung, a fatter rear fender, round taillamp and turn indicators and a twin pipe exhaust system. The previous spy images reveal that the company will offer several touring-friendly accessories with the bike.

The RE Super Meteor 650 will come with a hard case pannier placed on the left side, a flat footrest for the pillion, an engine guard with auxiliary lights, a top box on its tail rack and a tall windscreen. Similar to the RE Meteor 350, the Royal Enfield Meteor 650 will have a semi digital instrument cluster. There could be a smaller pad for the Tripper navigation. Powering the new RE 650 motorcycle will be the 648cc, parallel twin-cylinder engine with fuel injection technology. It’s the same motor that does duty in the RE Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. The unit delivers a claimed power of 47PS and 52Nm of torque.

RE Super Meteor 650 Specs

The cruiser will come with a 6-speed gearbox with slipper and assist clutch. Its suspension setup might consist of the USD front forks and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The bike is likely to be equipped with front and rear disc brakes along with the standard dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system).

In terms of pricing, the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 will be the most expensive RE model based on the company’s 650cc platform.
