Skoda India has added a new entry-level Superb Corporate Edition to the luxury saloon model lineup. Priced at Rs 23.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Pan India), the Skoda Superb Corporate Edition is around Rs 2.1 lakh more affordable than the Superb Style TSI variant that costs Rs 25.59 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). One must note that initially the Skoda Superb Corporate Edition will be retailed to the existing Volkswagen group customers only. It will be available for general buyers at a later stage. The Superb Corporate Edition is available in a single colour scheme – Candy White. The features on offer include Xenon headlamps, a powered driver seat, beige leather seats, automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, anti-lock braking system, electronic brake-force distribution, front and rear parking sensors, central locking, and more. No mechanical changes have been made to the car. The Skoda Superb Corporate Edition uses the same 1.8-litre petrol engine churning out a peak power of 180hp between 5100rpm-6200rpm and 250Nm of torque at 1250rpm-5000rpm. The Skoda Superb carline also comes with a 2.0-litre diesel powertrain that’s good for 174.5bhp at 3600rpm-4000rpm and 350Nm at 1500rpm-3500rpm. The oil burner is matched to a 6-speed twin clutch DSG automatic gearbox.
