Czech car manufacturer Skoda has introduced the 2015 Yeti facelift in the Australian market. It has been priced at 23,490 AUD (approx. Rs. 13 lakh). Unveiled at the 2014 Delhi Motor Show, the facelifted Yeti SUV is expected to be launched in India by mid-2014.

The entry level Skoda Yeti is powered by a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine mated to a six speed manual transmission gearbox, which transmits the power to front wheels. It also gets the seven-speed DSG gearbox as an optional variant. The mid-spec model is propelled by a 1.4-litre, turbo 4cylinder petrol engine which is coupled to a DSG gearbox. The high-spec variant is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine.
The India bound Skoda Yeti will be offered with a 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine that offers two power states- 110PS & 250Nm and 140PS & 320Nm. Power is transmitted to front wheels via a five-speed manual transmission gearbox. The more powerful engine will be paired to a six-speed manual transmission gearbox which drives the power to all-4 wheels.
The new Skoda Yeti gets a visual makeover including new headlamps with integrated xenons and LED daytime running lamps. The vehicle gets new grille, just like Superb sedan, offering the new Skoda family look. At the back, this SUV features new pair of LED tail lamps. On the inside, the Skoda Yeti gets new three-spoke steering wheel. Additionally, this model comes equipped with a tyre pressure monitoring system, cruise monitoring system along with keyless entry and start, electrically adjustable driver seat and others.
