Suzuki, the Japanese car manufacturer has revealed the iM-4 4×4 MINI SUV concept at the 85th Geneva Motor Show. According to the company, the iM-4 is based on the “Shape the Inspiration” theme.
The compact SUV is based on Suzuki’s new-generation platform, which is designed to efficiently increase rigidity while reducing weight. The reduction in weight is achieved by a fundamental redesign of the underbody’s structure and also optimising overall vehicle design, including parts mounted on the underbody. The reduction in weight helps in achieving fuel efficiency, safety, handling, stability and NVH performance.
The mini SUV features flared bumpers, side body moulding, sunglass-like front grille, blacked-out A- and B-pillars, clamshell bonnet, uniquely designed headlamps and taillamps, etc. Its wheel arches have been fitted to 18-inch wheels with five-trapezoidal design.
