MG 360M (Ertiga, Marazzo Rival) MPV Explained in a Hindi Video

MG Motors had showcased 2 new multi-purpose vehicles – the G10 and the 360M at the 2020 Auto Expo. The MG 360M is a mid-sized 7-seater MPV to rival the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and the Mahindra Marazzo. On the other hand, the G10 is a full-sized MPV to compete with the Kia Carnival.

MG had unveiled the left-hand-drive version of the 360M; however, India will get the right-hand-drive model. It is basically the re-badged Baojun 360, which is currently on sale in the Chinese market. The MPV will receive comprehensive changes before launching in the Indian market.

In terms of proportions, the MG 360M is 4,615mm long, 1,735mm wide and 1,660mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 2,750mm. It is around 220mm longer than the Ertiga MPV. The 360M is a 6-seater MPV with captain seats for the second row. At the time of the launch, MG will launch both 5 and 7-seater versions of the MPV. With second and third row seats folded down, the 360M offers a luggage carrying capacity of 1,350-litres.

Powering the 360M 7-seater MPV is a 1.5-litre petrol engine paired to a CVT automatic gearbox. This engine is capable of producing a maximum power output of 103PS and a peak torque of 135Nm. The new model is expected to be launched in our market in late 2021 or 2022. It is likely to be priced around Rs 9 lakh to Rs 12 lakh.
