Mercedes-Benz V-Class Marco Polo Luxury Campervan Comes To India
Mercedes-Benz India has introduced the luxury camper V-Class Marco Polo at the Auto Expo 2020. The carmaker has announced that it will come in two variants – Marco Polo Horizon and Marco Polo – priced at Rs 1.38 crore and Rs 1.46 crore respectively. The company says that the Mercedes Benz V-Class Marco Polo “sets new standard in perceived quality, stylish living and comfortable practicality”.
The Marco Polo camper pack offers several camping features making it suitable for weekend trips and vacation. The vehicle comes with four seat configuration with an option to extend it up to 6-seats. Its kitchen area provides two gas burners, refrigerator, a folding table and a sink.
The Mercedes Benz V Class Marco Polo offers room for 5 people to sleep on the 3-seater bench and in the roof canopy bed. There are multiple seating options along with features such as manual pop-up roof, electric sliding doors on the rear, extendable awning, opaque curtains and an optional table package.
The luxury camper comes with a pack of living equipment such as cupboard module with kitchenette, 2 drawers at top with self-closing feature, a large drawer bottom right, 38-litre water tank, 40-liter wastewater tank and more. On the safety front, the V-Class Marco Polo offers a 360 degree reversing camera, LED intelligent light system, agility control features, attention assist and multiple airbags.
Under the hood, the Mercedes-Benz V Class Marco Polo employs a BS6-compliant 1950cc diesel engine that’s good for 163bhp and 380Nm of torque.
