Kia Seltos Gets 5 Star Safety Rating In ANCAP Crash Test – Video
The results of the latest round of ANCAP (Australasian New Car Assessment Program) crash test are out and the Kia Seltos compact SUV has scored 5 stars.
The compact SUV managed to score 85% (32.5 out of 38 points) in Adult Occupant Protection and 83% (40 out of 49 points) in Child Occupant Protection. In Safety Assist and Vulnerable Road User Protection, the Seltos gets 70% and 61% respectively.

Itβs to be noted that the aforementioned tests were conducted on the Australia-spec Kia Seltos that comes with the standard Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) system, dual frontal, side chesat-protecting and side head-protecting (curtain) airbags. Read – Kia Carnival MPV With Sunroof Spotted
Safety features such as emergency lane keeping and lane keep assist system with lane departure warning are also on offer.
The S, Sport and LX trims of the Australia-spec Kia Seltos get more advanced AEB radar-fusion system as an optional offering. These variants have scored 78% for Safety Assist and 68% for Vulnerable Road User Protection. The Kia Seltos was launched in Australia and New Zealand in October, 2019. In India, the Kia Seltos gets 6 airbags, anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution, electronic stability program, traction control, stability management, hill-start assist control, brake assist, rear and front parking camera and a 360 degree camera.
