There is a chrome-finished window lines that rise sharply towards the rear. Unlike the concept that featured 19-inch alloy wheels, the production-ready Kia Seltos receives 16-inch and 17-inch crystal cut alloy wheels wrapped in 205/65-section and 215/60 section tyres respectively.

Dimensions

Kia’s all-new compact SUV – Seltos measures 4315mm in length, 1800mm in width and 1620mm in height with a wheelbase of 2610mm. This makes it 45mm longer and 20mm wider than the Creta. In fact, its wheelbase is slightly longer (20mm). It offers a boot space of 433L.

The Kia Seltos has 5-seats layout with premium fit and finish. The dashboard design looks clean with minimal buttons. It has a sporty flat-bottom steering wheel. The SUV comes with ambient mood lighting with first-of-its-kind LED sound mood lights in 8 mono colour themes and 6 multicolour themes. Its rear seats have 2 step degree reclining function with 60:40 split and adjustable centre headrest.

The SUV offers several first-in-segment features; however, its major attraction is a 10.25-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system with advanced 7.0-inch colour display for the instrument cluster. The latter offers read-out for drive information, tyre pressure monitor, rear park assist warning, driving mode and turn by turn navigation. The infotainment unit supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay along with Bluetooth, Aux-in and USB functions. A Bose sound system with 8-speaker solves the entertainment purpose; though, it missed out on lower variants.

The Seltos is the first car in its segment to offer an 8.0-inch Heads-Up-Display (HUD) offering navigation information, read-out for speed, speed limit and cruise control. It also comes with industry-first Smart Pure Air purifier with Hepa filter. The AC unit of the SUV has faster cooling and airflow with Eco coating that prevents microorganism growth and reduces AC odour.
