It is official that Toyota will launch the new Glanza premium hatchback in the Indian market on June 6, 2019. It will be the first product from the Toyota and Suzuki partnership in India. The Toyota Glanza is basically the re-badged Baleno hatchback. It will be offer in 2 trim levels – G and V – in petrol version only. Features, engines and transmission options of the Toyota Glanza have been leaked on the internet.
The Toyota Glanza G entry-level variant will be offered in 2 engine-gearbox options – a 90bhp, 1.2-litre Smart Hybrid Petrol engine with a 5-speed manal and a 83bhp, 1.2-litre petrol with a 7-speed CVT automatic. The top-spec Glanza V is powered by a 83bhp, 1.2-litre petrol engine. It is available in 2 gearbox options – a 5-speed manual and a 7-step CVT.
