Aprilia Storm 125 Scooter Launched At Rs 65,000
Aprilia Storm 125 scooter is available in two colours – Matte Yellow and Matte Red.
Aprilia Storm 125 scooter, which was showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo, has finally gone on sale in the Indian market. Priced at Rs 65,000 (ex-showroom, Pune), the scooter becomes the most affordable offering from the Italian two-wheeler maker in the country. It’s around Rs 6,385 less expensive than the Aprilia SR 125. Bookings and deliveries of the Aprilia Storm 125 scooter have already been commenced across the country.
The bodywork of the Aprilia Storm 125 looks similar to the Aprilia SR 125 and SR 150. Though, it gets black livery and new matte colour schemes – Matte Yellow and Matte Red. It has ‘Strom’ badge on the side panels and the apron.

Unlike the SR 125 and SR 150, the Storm 125 gets a single bulb headlamp. While the SR 125 and SR 150 come with 14-inch wheels, the Aprilia Storm 125 has been assembled with 12-inch wheels and 120/80 front and 130/80 rear dual purpose tyres.
For power, the Aprilia Storm 125 makes use of the same 124.9cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that does duty in the SR 125. This motor, with a CVT gearbox, delivers a peak power of 9.6PS and 9.9Nm of torque. Similar to the SR 125, Aprilia’s new scooter features front fork and rear monoshock suspension for performing damping duties. It gets CBS as standard along with the front and rear drum brakes.
