Jeep India Wishes Yuvraj Singh On His International Retirement
Jeep India has extended best wishes to Yuvraj Singh on his retirement with a picture saying “The All-Rounder. The One & Only SUV.”
Yuraj Singh, the 37-year old left-handed batsman, announced his retirement from International Cricket. Sport fraternity, Bollywood celebrities and his fans took social media to wish him good luck and appreciate his contribution to the Indian cricket team. Jeep India has also extended best wishes to him with a picture saying “The All-Rounder. The One & Only SUV.”
In the cricket fraternity, Yuvi is named as all-rounder with outstanding bating, balling and fielding skills. In its tribute to Yuvraj Singh, Jeep described the Compass as all-rounder. The SUV, which was launched in July 2017, has been favoured for its rugged styling, feature-packed interior and efficient powertrain. The American carmaker will soon add a new, top-spec variant to the Compass lineup – the Jeep Compass Trailhawk.
In his International Cricket career, Yuraj Singh played a total of 40 tests, 304 ODIs and 58 T20 from 2000 to 2017. He made debut against Australia at Nairobi in the ICC Knockout 2000. Touted to be one of the greatest white ball cricketers, Yuvraj retires as India’s seventh highest run-getter in ODIs with 8,609 runs at an average of 36.47 including 14 hundreds and 52 half-centuries.
Yuvraj Singh won 27 Man of the Match awards in his illustrious career out of which 4 in the victorious 2011 World Cup. He was also named the Player of the Tournament. Yuvraj also played an important role in the India’s win in the 2007 T20 tournament. In an inaugural World T20 in 2017 in South Africa, Yuvraj Singh slammed a 12-ball half century against England which also included the famour six sixes in an over against Stuart Board. He also holds the record of fastest half century in the form at the international level.
