The testing of the next-generation Mahindra Scorpio has already been started. A new digital rendering has revealed the possible design of the front-end of the Scorpio SUV. The new model is likely to make debut at the 2020 Delhi Auto Expo, while launch could take place in mid-2020.

First launched in 2002, the Mahindra Scorpio has been largely remain identical and did not receive many changes in terms of styling. For the first time, the SUV will receive radical design changes and interior. Going by the spy images available on the internet, it is visible that the 2020 Mahindra Scorpio comes with all-new design. Adding to it, the SUV will grow in size and will offer more space inside the cabin. The rendering image suggests that the next-gen Scorpio will have a prominent, hexagonal radiator grille with chrome vertical slats and more angular profile including projector headlamps. Other design highlights likely to include high-set bonnet with a sharper air scoop, massive bumper with wider lower grille, vertically-stacked fog lamp housings and a new skid plate.

The next-gen Mahindra Scorpio will have a racked glass house area at the back and the strong beltline that runs across the length. It will have flared wheel arches and extended third row. Inside the cabin, the all-new Mahindra Scorpio will come with wider dashboard layout. It will come equipped with vertical central air vents and a large touchscreen infotainment system with modern connectivity features. The vehicle will also share the key features like steering wheel, gear knob and instrument console with the Mahindra Marazzo. The next model will also receive the forward-facing third row of seats.
