Hyundai will launch the new generation 2015 Hyundai Elite i20 in the Indian car market on August 11. The bookings for the car have already commenced while the company has discontinued the current i20 model. The new Hyundai Elite i20 has already reached the dealerships and the deliveries are expected to commence from the day it launches.
The new generation Hyundai Elite i20 has been spotted several times during its test rounds across the nation. It is expected that the new Elite i20 will be more premium than the current generation i20 hatchback. This could be the move to offer a more premium product to the buyers and to compete well against the likes of Volkswagen Polo, Fiat Punto EVO and the upcoming Honda Jazz.
The new Hyundai Elite i20 gets an improved wheelbase and ground clearance. There is also an extension in the boot space and several high end features have been added to this car. The new model features rear AC vents, automatic climate control, 16-inch alloy wheels, front centre armrest with storage space, impact sensing door locks, steering adaptive parking assist, service reminder, 1-touch lane change indicator and many more. The aforementioned comfort and convenience features clearly indicate that the new i20 is more advanced, up-market and striking than before. The new generation Hyundai Elite i20 is likely to be priced in the range of Rs. 4.75 lakh to Rs. 8 lakh.
