Ultra luxury car manufacturer Bentley has introduced the Flying Spur V8 in the Indian car market. The Flying Spur V8 is basically the smaller sibling of the Flying Spur flagship W12 model and it is priced at Rs. 3.10 crore (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
Under the hood, the Bentley Flying Spur V8 gets the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine. This engine is capable of producing a top power output of 500bhp and a peak torque of 660Nm. Power is transmitted to all four wheels via an eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox. The new model accelerates to 100kmph from zero in mere 5.2 seconds and hits a top speed of 295kmph.
The exteriors of the Flying Spur V8 look identical to the bigger W12; however, the company has given some subtle changes to it. It features a newly designed chrome exhaust finisher and to denote the V8 engine, the company has given a red centre to the Bentley wings badges. Matt black finish is given to the front lower bumper grille. Inside the cabin, the vehicle gets premium leather upholstery, wood inlays and chrome inserts.
