The Hyundai Grand i10 Special Edition receives some changes both inside and out. Though, no mechanical changes have been made to the car.

Hyundai Motor India Ltd today launched the Hyundai Grand i10 Special Edition at a starting price of Rs 5.68 lakh (ex-showroom, Dehi). Similar to the Xcent special edition, the Hyundai Grand i10 ’20th Anniversary Edition’ will also be sold in limited numbers.

Based on the Sportz trim, the Hyundai Grand i10 Special Edition is priced more or less similar to the regular Sportz variants though a slightly high). Both the special editions have been launched to celebrate the company’s 20 years in India.

The Hyundai Grand i10 Special Edition receives some changes both inside and out. The car features a boot lid spoiler and new body graphics on sides, front radiator grille chrome, B-Pillar blackout and chrome garnish rear. The special edition also gets ‘20th Anniversary Special Edition’emblem to celebrate the success & togetherness. Both the petrol and diesel Sportz trim will be available only in the Pure White color option. The vehicle’s cabin has also gone through some changes, it now receives a 6.2-inch touch-screen audio video system and Red & Black Seats.

Since it’s just a limited edition, it receives no mechanical changes. The hatchback continues to feature the same 1.1-litre UR CRDi diesel and a 1.2-litre Kappa dual VTVT petrol mills. While the gasoline engine yields a maximum power output of 82bhp and 114Nm, the oil burner is good enough for 71bhp and 180Nm. Both the vehicles feature a 5-speed manual transmission.
