Hyundai India has finally revealed the much awaited small car Hyundai Grand i10. We earlier referred it by the codename BA, and now we finally get to know the actual name and the design or looks of the car. This is the same car, which has been spotted number of times testing on the Indian roads in the past 6-9 months.
As expected that Grand i10 hatchback sports Hyundai’s new fluidic styling and details. The vehicle also gets a set of roof rails. However, Hyundai Motor India hasn’t revealed any interior images of the grand i10. The Grand i10 will sit between the regular Hyundai i10 and i20. The car will compete against the likes of Maruti Swift and Ford Figo, and it is expected to be launched as soon as September.
Hyundai Grand i10 will be available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol motor will be the same 1.2-litre Kappa2 engine that also powers the i10 and i20. The new Grand i10 will also get a 1.1-litre diesel engine, however Hyundai hasn’t released any specification of the new diesel engine, we expect a power delivery of about 65-70bhp.
