Honda Activa 6G Engine Specifications, Dimensions Leaked
Japanese two-wheeler maker, Honda has hinted that the much-awaited new BSVI Activa 6G will go on sale on January 15, 2020. Ahead of the launch, technical specifications and dimensions of the upcoming Honda Activa 6G have been leaked on the Internet.
The leaked document confirms that the BSVI Honda Activa will come with the 6G suffix. It will be powered by a 109.51cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 5.73kW (7.68bhp) of power at 8,000rpm. The BSVI engine offers slightly less power than the BSVI model, which uses the same engine and produces 8bhp of maximum power at 7,500rpm.
The BSVI compliant engine comes with Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) with Honda Eco Technology (HET). Similar to the BSVI Honda Activa 125, the new Activa 6G could feature the Honda Enhanced Smart Power (eSP), a new ACG silent start system and Idling Stop System.
The new model will receive design changes along with tweaked dimensions. The new Activa 6G will be longer than the outgoing model. It measures 1,833mm in length, 697mm in width and 1,156mm in height and has a wheelbase of 1,260mm. The wheelbase has been raised by 22mm, while the height and width have been reduced by 2mm and 13mm respectively.
The BSVI Honda Activa 6G will be around Rs 5,000 expensive than the BS4 model. In terms of features, the new Activa 6G will receive full LED headlight, a Digital instrument console, external fuel filler cap, a pass button, new front apron and chromed side panels.
