Haval H6 SUV Likely to be Unveiled at Auto Expo 2020
After SAIC Motor Corporation, Chinese automaker – Great Wall Motors will officially enter India in 2020. The company will introduce its SUV brand – Haval in the Indian market. Adding to it, Haval will showcase its SUV range at the upcoming Delhi Auto Expo 2020. The first Great Wall Motors product for our market will be the Haval H6 SUV.
It is expected that the India-spec Haval H6 premium SUV will be unveiled at the Auto Expo 2020. This SUV will directly rival the MG Hector, Tata Harrier, Jeep Compass and the Mahindra XUV500. In terms of styling, the SUV gets the signature horizontal chrome slat grille and twin projector headlamps. The H6 SUV features round fog lamps in chrome housing and prominent body cladding to offer rugged feel. The SUV rides on 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
At the back, the Haval H6 comes fitted with a complete LED light setup with a chrome strip connecting the taillights. There is a dual-exhaust with a sporty bumper. Inside the cabin, the new model gets a 9-inch MP5 touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The SUV also gets a 12.3-inch all-digital instrument console, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, keyless entry with push-button start, powered front seats and a heated steering wheel.
The Haval H6 premium SUV is available with 2 petrol engine including a 1.5-litre T-GDI and a 2.0-litre T-GDI. While the former is capable of producing 163PS of power and 280Nm of torque, the 2.0L unit is good for 190PS and 340Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
