Datsun, Nissan’s low-cost car brand, Datsun has announced that its newly-launched redi-GO hatchback and GO+ MPV are now available at CSD (Canteen Stores Department). Now, the defense personnel can avail CSD benefits on the purchase of these two Datsun cars. The benefits include exemption in VAT, priority delivery, etc. Besides this, the carmaker will introduce special offers for servicemen and their families.
Arun Malhotra, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India said, “It’s always been our endeavour to enhance the overall brand experience for our customers. Extending the Datsun redi-GO and Datsun GO+ under CSD along with our other existing Nissan and Datsun models, is another step to provide one more reason for our customers to take home their favourite vehicle topped with exclusive offers”.
The Datsun redi-GO is currently the top-selling car for the Japanese carmaker in India. The hatchback received over 20,000 bookings so far. With such a huge demand, the waiting period of the hatchback has gone up to 2 months. On the other hand, the Datsun GO+ MPV was introduced as the people carrier car in India in 2015. Though, it failed to generate volume for the company. With an aim to improve its sales, the Japanese carmaker recently introduced the special ‘Style’ edition of the GO+.
