Hyundai Creta facelift Bookings Open – Report

One can pre-book the Hyundai Creta facelift SUV at an initial token amount of Rs 25,000, which is refundable on cancellation.

We informed you earlier that Hyundai will soon launch the updated version of the Creta SUV in the Indian market. If reports are to be believed, the 2018 Hyundai Creta facelift will be launched in May 2018. In fact, Hyundai dealers have unofficially started taking pre-orders for the car. One can pre-book the SUV at an initial token amount of Rs 25,000, which is refundable on cancellation.

According to autocarindia, deliveries for the facelifted Creta will start from June onwards. Adding to it, the Creta facelift will also receive sunroof on the top-spec variants. Design inspiration for the updated model will come from the South American-spec SUV. Report further suggests that the top-spec variants could also receive a dual-tone exterior paint job. On the exterior, the Creta facelift will receive Hyundai’s signature design. It will come with a larger hexagonal grille with a thick chrome surround and a chunky new front bumper. The side profile of the SUV is largely identical to the existing model, except for the few changes in the form of newly designed alloy wheels. At the back, the SUV will receive slightly revised tail-lamps with LED inserts, along with a redesigned bumper. The addition of sunroof would help the company to attract more buyers.

Mechanically, the Hyundai Creta facelift won’t receive any changes. The SUV will continue to be offered with the same set of engines which includes the 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre petrol engines along with the 1.6-litre diesel engines. For transmission duties, the SUV will get a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic unit.
