BS6 TVS Sport Priced At Rs 51,750; Delivers 15% More Mileage
TVS Motor Company has rolled out the BS6-compliant Sport 110cc motorcycle in the country. Similar to the previous model, the updated one comes in two variants – Kick Start and Self Start – priced at Rs 51,750 and 58,925 (all, ex-showroom) respectively. While the former gets expensive by Rs 3,633, the latter witnessed a price hike of Rs 8,017. The bikemaker says that the BS6 TVS Sport 110 is 15% more fuel economical than old one. The bike uses a new, BS6-compliant 109.7cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine instead of the old 99.7cc motor. The new engine has been boosted with fuel injection technology that’s named ‘Eco Thrust Fuel Injection technology (ETFi) by the company. The new motor, paired to a 4-speed gearbox, delivers a peak power of 8.29PS against 8.7Nm of torque.
The BS6 TVS Sport 110 commuter comes in a choice of 3 dual-tone (White/Purple, Black/Red and White/Red) and 2 mono tone colour (Mercury Grey) schemes. No cosmetic changes have been to the bike. The BS6-compliant version of the motorcycle comes with the telescopic oil damped upfront and 5 step adjustable hydraulic shock absorber at the rear. It continues to derive its braking power from the same 130mm front and 110mm rear drum brakes. Similar to the old model, the new one measures 1950mm in length, 705mm in width and 1080mm in height.
