Update: Bajaj Pulsar RS200 Launched; Check Out its Price, Mileage, Colors, Specs, etc.
After revealing a series of teaser images and video, Bajaj Auto has announced that it will launch the much-awaited Pulsar RS 200 (Pulsar 200RS) in the Indian two-wheeler market on March 26, 2015. It is basically the re-branded Pulsar 200SS, which is scheduled to go on sale in Turkey this year.
The Pulsar RS200 will be the ‘Fastest Pulsar Yet’ and is equipped with a 200cc, 4-valve engine and triple-spark technology. The triple-spark technology helps in attaining ideal engine speeds especially on high speeds. It is powered by a 199.5cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that is good for 24.4PS of power at 9,500rpm and 18.6Nm of torque at 8,000rpm. This engine also powers the 200NS, but it is tweaked to offer 1PS more power and .3Nm of torque. The engine is matched with a six-speed gearbox.
The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is 2,060mm long, 750mm wide, 1,160mm tall and has a ground clearance of 165mm. It has a telescopic front suspension and single spring damper at the rear. Braking system comprises of a 280mm butterfly type front disc and a 230mm butterfly type rear disc. The fully faired Pulsar 200 RS sports LED daytime running lights, LED taillights and dual projector headlights with automatic headlight function. The bike is expected to be priced in the range of Rs. 1.10 lakh to Rs. 1.35 lakh.
