Delhi Auto Expo, the largest automotive show in Asia, has been scheduled for January 2023. The extravagant event will start from 13th January in Greater Noida near New Delhi. India’s top three passenger vehicle makers, Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai Motor and Tata Motors along with Toyota Kirloskar Motor, Kia, MG Motor and new BYD will showcase their new models and upcoming products. However, car manufacturers such as Mahindra, Honda Cars, Volkswagen, Skoda, Jeep, Nissan, Renault BMW, Mercedes, Audi and Volvo are giving it a miss. Maruti Suzuki Cars At Auto Expo 2023
The Indo-Japanese automaker will unveil its three major upcoming models including the Baleno Cross Coupe SUV, 5-door Jimny and a new C-segment MPV. The Baleno Cross will be a Nexa offering based on the lightweight Heartech platform. The model is likely to come with the BS6-compliant 1.0L, 3-cylinder Boosterjet, turbo petrol engine. The 5-door Maruti Jimny could be made available with the 5 and 7-seats configurations. Powering the SUV will be a 1.5L K15B petrol engine benefited with the mild hybrid tech. Hyundai Cars At Auto Expo 2023
Hyundai Motor India will put up the new Creta facelift on display alongside the new-generation Verna sedan. Though, the showstopper will be the new micro-SUV that’s codenamed Hyundai Ai3. It will be the smallest and most affordable Hyundai car in India. In the EV space, the company will showcase its flagship Ioniq 6 EV and it might also unveil the upcoming “affordable” electric car concept at the event. Tata Cars At Auto Expo 2023
Tata Motors hasn’t yet revealed its product lineup for the Delhi Auto Expo. Though, it’s expected to unveil the Tata Harrier and Safari facelifts along with the new Tiago EV, Altroz EV and Punch EV. The updated Harrier and Safari SUVs will witness minimal design changes and feature upgrades including ADAS (advanced driver assistance system). No changes will be made to their engine setup. Toyota Cars At Auto Expo 2023
Toyota Innova Hycross will be major attraction at Toyota’s stall at the Delhi Auto Expo. In fact, the carmaker will announce its prices at the event. The three-row MPV will be made available with the 172bhp, 2.0L naturally aspirated petrol and 186bhp, 2.0L strong hybrid powertrain options. Both 7 and 8-seats configurations will be on offer. The model will be equipped with the Toyota Safety Sense suite of ADAS (advanced driver assistance system).
