6 New Hyundai Cars Likely To Unveil At Auto Expo 2023

Hyundai is preparing a wide range of new cars and SUVs for the Indian market. The company is participating at the 2023 Auto Expo, which is scheduled to happen from January 13, 2022. Hyundai has multiple products in pipeline for the Indian market. Not just new models, the Korean brand will upgrade its existing line-up in the country.

2023 Hyundai Verna Launch

Hyundai is expected to present 6 new cars and concepts at the 2023 Auto Expo. The company has fast paced the development of the new gen Verna sedan, which is expected to be launched sometime in 2023. In fact, the new Verna has already been spotted testing multiple times on the Indian roads. Expected to be unveiled at the biennial event, the new-gen Verna will grow in size and will offer more space inside the cabin. It is also expected to receive ADAS tech with features autonomous emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control and others. It is likely to share the engine options with the Creta SUV, which includes a 1.5L petrol, a 1.5L turbo diesel and a 1.4L turbo petrol.

Hyundai will also launch a new subcompact SUV, codenamed Ai3 in the mid-2023, around festive season Diwali. The new model will rival the Tata Punch, Renault Kiger and the Nissan Magnite. It will be based on the Grand i10 Nios, which also underpins the global Casper micro SUV. The new model is expected to be powered by a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine that produces 82bhp and 113Nm of torque. The new model could also receive a CNG option.

2022 Hyundai Creta facelift India

Hyundai is also likely to launch the new Creta facelift at the Auto Expo 2023. The new Creta is already on sale in select international markets. The new model will share the styling cues from the new Tucson SUV. Its cabin is likely to be shared with the existing model. However, Hyundai could offer an upgraded BlueLink connected car tech with advanced features. Similar to the new Tucson, the new Creta facelift could also receive ADAS tech. It will continue to be offered with existing set of engines.

Hyundai is also expected to showcase 3 electric vehicles at the Delhi Auto Expo 2023. The company is likely to showcase the new Kona EV facelift and Ioniq 6 EV at the event. Moreover, an affordable EV concept could also debut at the biennial event. The new concept is likely to showcase the brand’s future affordable electric vehicle for the Indian market.
