German luxury car manufacturer, Audi has silently added a new mid-level variant to its successful A4 sedan lineup. Christened as A4 Premium Sport, the new model will be positioned between the current A4 Technology Pack trim and the A4 Premium trim. Mercedes-Benz India is gearing up to launch the new C-Class sedan on November 25, 2014, and the new trim is introduced to counter the upcoming model from its arch rival. The new A4 Premium Sport edition price in India is Rs. 39.95 lakh, ex-showroom Mumbai.
The Audi A4 Premium Sport edition gets carbon-black styling package. The outside rear view mirrors, door mouldings and window sills gets black package, while the front bumper is slightly tweaked to offer fresh feel. The flared wheel arches of the sedan have been fitted to newly formulated 17-inch 20-spoke alloy wheels. This variant is only available in two exterior colours- Red and White. The A4 Sport Edition gets all-black interiors instead of the dual-tone offered in the standard variants.
Under the hood is the same 2.0-litre TDI motor which is tweaked to offer more power and torque value. This engine develops 177bhp of power and 380Nm of top torque instead of the 134bhp and 320Nm of torque offered on the standard A4 trims.
