Italian two-wheeler maker, Aprilia has launched the updated version of the Aprilia SR 150 in the Indian market. The standard variant is priced at Rs 70,031. The scooter is available in 2 variants – Carbon and Race – priced at Rs 73,500 and Rs 80,211 (all prices ex-showroom, Pune). The Aprilia SR 150 has been one of the best-performing scooters in India; however, it misses out on some features that are available in most of the scooters currently on sale in India. This time, Aprilia ensures that the updated scooter gets all the required features.
The 2018 Aprilia SR 150 gets two new paint jobs – Blue and Grey – along with new graphics. The sportier Race variant comes with new color and graphics. Instead of analog unit, the new Aprilia SR 150 gets new digi-analogue instrument cluster that sports a digital display for the fuel gauge, odometer and trip meter. However, the speedo unit is still an analogue unit. Adding to it, the scooter gets USB charging ports under the seat. The scooter rides on the same 14-inch wheels shod with 120/70 R14 tyres. Powering the 2018 Aprilia SR 150 gets the same 154cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 10.06bhp of power and 10.9Nm of torque. For braking mechanism, the bike gets 220mm disc and 140mm disc and drum brakes at the front and rear respectively. The scooter now has a preload-adjustable monoshock unit, while the fuel tank has 6.5-litres capacity.
