New Hyundai Santro 2018 Price In India

Official bookings for the hatchback will begin from 10th October, 2018.

The South Korean carmaker today unveiled the much-awaited all-new Santro hatchback for the Indian market. The new Hyundai Santro 2018 will have its world premiere on 23rd October in New Delhi. Official bookings for the hatchback will begin from tomorrow (10th October) and token amount for the first 50,000 customers is Rs 11,100. The new Santro will come as replacement to the aging Eon, and take head-to-head against the Renault Kwid.

The carmaker says that the new Hyundai Santro 2018 has been developed especially for the Indian market with a focus to create a “Masterpiece Product”. Based on “Rhythmical Tension” design theme, the hatchback carries tallboy stance. It’s also claimed to offer “a stable and comfortable ride”. New Hyundai Santro 2018 Launch

Hyundai has confirmed that the new Santro will use a 1.1L, four-cylinder petrol engine that’s good for 68bhp at 5,500rpm and 99Nm of torque at 4,500rpm. A 5-speed manual gearbox is standard across the carline. A factory-fitted CNG powertraion option, featuring 1.1L petrol motor delivering 59bhp at 5,500rpm and 84Nm of torque at 4,500rpm. The hatchback’s petrol model will deliver a claimed mileage of 20.3kmpl (MT/AMT) and the CNG model returns 30.5km/kg. Hyundai says that it has taken specific measures to reduce the car’s NVH levels.

Based onn 63% high strength steel, the new Hyundai Santro 2018 comes with collision safety with side and frontal body strengthening. The hatchback rides on 165/70 R14 Hancook front and rear tyres. The hatchback comes with some segment-first features such as rear AC vents (with 5% increased blower capacity for the fan) and a 17.64 cm touchscreen audio video system with Android auto, Apple Carplay and Mirror Link connectivity. Other key features include the voice recognition function, Eco coating tech for air filtration and rear parking camera display on screen.
