Hyundai is preparing to launch the next-gen Verna sedan, which is reportedly to enter the production line in March 2023. The new Hyundai Verna is expected to be launched sometime in April 2023. It will share the styling cues from the new-gen Elantra sedan. The sedan will be powered by a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine. It will also be offered with a 1.5L NA petrol engine with the idle start/stop technology. The sedan can be had with either a manual or an automatic gearbox. There will be no diesel engine on offer. It will grow in size and will offer more space inside the cabin.

Maruti Suzuki had showcased the Baleno-based crossover, called the Maruti Fronx at the 2023 Auto Expo. The Maruti Suzuki Fronx crossover can be booked online or at authorised dealership by paying a token amount of Rs 11,000. It will be sold exclusively through NEXA premium dealership network. The new model will rival the likes of the Renault Kiger and the Nissan Magnite. It is scheduled to be launched by April 2023. The new model will be offered with a 1.0-litre turbo petrol and a 1.2-litre Dual-Jet petrol. Both manual and automatic gearbox options will be on offer.

Maruti Suzuki will launch the much-awaited 5-door Jimny lifestyle SUV in May 2023. The new model will rival the likes of the upcoming Mahindra Thar 5-door and the Force Gurkha. Interested buyers can pre-book the new model online or at authorised NEXA dealerships by paying a token amount of Rs 51,000. It will be powered by a 1.5-litre K15B naturally-aspirated petrol engine that produces 103bhp and 134Nm of torque. Transmission choices will include a 4-speed torque convertor and a 5-speed manual. It will get Suzuki’s AllGrip Pro AWD system as standard.

Citroen is all set to launch the electrified version of the C3 hatchback in the country in February-March 2023. Bookings for the Citroen eC3 have already been commenced for a token amount of Rs 25,000. It will also be offered in two variants – Live and Feel. It features a 29.2kWh battery pack with a front-axle mounted electric motor. This powertrain produces 57PS and 143Nm of torque. It is claimed to offer a certified range of 320kms. It will offer a top speed of 107kmph. The battery can be charged from 0 to 80% in 57 minutes.

Audi has confirmed that the new Q3 Sportback will be launched in the next few weeks. Interested buyers can pre-book the model by paying a sum of Rs 2 lakh. It will be powered by the same 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that produces 188bhp and 320Nm of torque. For performing transmission duties, the Q3 Sportback will have a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. It will come with the Quattro AWD (all-wheel drive) system.

Honda has officially announced to launch a new midsize SUV in the country by mid-2023. It will make its global debut in India by April-2023. The new model will be based on the modified Amaze platform. It will be positioned against the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Astor, Maruti Grand Vitara, VW Taigun and the Toyota Hyryder. The new Honda SUV will be powered by a 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol and a 1.5-litre Atkinson cycle engine with an e:HEV hybrid tech with two electric motors. These engine options are currently offered on the City sedan. The hybrid version will come with a single, fixed-gear ratio with three drive modes – Engine, EV and Hybrid.
