Maruti Suzuki Nexa dealerships have started receiving stocks of the all-new Fronx compact crossover that’s slated to launch in coming weeks. Though, its exact launch date is yet to be revealed. Buyers can pre-booking the vehicle by paying sum of Rs 11,000. The new Maruti Fronx will be offered in 5 trim levels – Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta and Alpha. The first three trims can be had with the 1.2L, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Delta and Delta+ trims will come with a 5-speed AMT gearbox.
The new 1.0L, 3-cylinder turbo Boosterjet petrol engine will power the Delta+, Zeta and Alpha trims. While a manual gearbox is standard across all aforementioned trims, the Zeta and Alpha trims will get a 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox. Both engines are benefited with Suzuki’s mild hybrid technology. While the boosterjet unit makes a top power of 100bhp and 147.6Nm of torque, the naturally aspirated motor delivers power worth 90bhp and 113Nm of torque.
The standard feature kit includes fabric seat upholstery, tilt adjustment for steering, 60:40 rear seat split, automatic climate control, powered windows, keyless entry and go, dual-tone interior, dual airbags, reverse parking sensors, rear defogger, hill hold assist, electronic stability program, steel wheels with wheel covers and halogen projector headlamps. The range-topping Alpha trim gets some exclusive features such as leather-wrapped steering wheel, Head-up display, 360 degree camera, cruise control, 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and dual-tone paint schemes. The new Maruti compact crossover also comes with a SmartPlay Pro 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, 6-speaker audio system, voice assistance, electrically adjustable wing mirrors, steering mounted controls, wireless charger, coloured MID in instrument cluster, height adjustable driver’s seat, rear AC vents, Suzuki connected car features, rear view camera, etc.
