Ola Electric has added new variants to both the S1 and S1 Air electric scooter range. Both Ola S1 and S1 Air range are now available with 3 variants. The OLA S1 Air range is available in the price bracket of Rs 84,999 to Rs 1,09,999, while the S1 range is priced between Rs 99,999 and Rs 129,999.
OLA S1 Range
The company claims that customers have been requesting for an Ola S1 with a smaller capacity battery. This variant will mostly target users who barely ride 25-30km in a day. The scooter is now available with a 2kW battery pack that is claimed to offer a range of 91km on a single charge, as per the Indian Driving Cycle or IDC. It features the same 8.5kW motor; however, its top speed has been restricted at 90kmph.
The Ola S1 with 2kWh battery pack is priced at Rs 99,999, while the S1 with 3kWh battery pack is priced at Rs 1,09,999. This variant is claimed to offer a certified range of 141km and a top speed of 95kmph.
The top-spec Ola S1 Pro comes with a 4kWh battery pack and a 8.5kW motor. This variant is claimed to offer a range of 181km as per Indian Driving Cycle or IDC. It is claimed to offer a top speed of 116kmph. It is available at Rs 1.30 lakh, which makes it cheaper by Rs 10,000 than the previous scooters.
OLA S1 Air
The S1 Air was originally launched with a 2.5kWh battery pack and a range of 101km. However, the new Ola S1 Air range is now available with 3 battery pack options – 2kWh, 3kWh and 4kWh. The company has also announced that the customers who had booked the S1 Air with a 2.5kWh battery would receive a 3kWh battery variant without any increase in price.
The Ola S1 Air with 2kWh battery pack is claimed to offer a certified range of 85km on a single charge. The 3kWh version has a higher IDC range of 125km, while the top-spec 4kWh version claims to offer a range of 165km on a single charge. All variants are fitted with a 4.5kW motor with a top speed of 85kmph. The Ola S1 Air is priced at Rs 84,999, while the 3kWh and 4kWh variants are priced at Rs 99,999 and Rs 1.10 lakh respect
