3 New Hyundai Cars Coming In Next Few Months

Hyundai Motor India plans to upgrade and expand its product portfolio next year. The carmaker will give mid-life update to the Grand i10 Nios and Creta along with a generation change to the Verna sedan. Official bookings for the Hyundai Ioniq 5 electric crossover will begin from 20th December 2022 and its launch is likely to happen early next year. Rumour has it that the South Korean automaker will also foray into the compact MPV segment with the Hyundai Stargazer. It’s also reported to introduce a mini SUV that might have its public debut at the 2023 Delhi Auto Expo. Here’re some key details of the upcoming new Hyundai cars, which are ready to hit roads in coming months.

Hyundai Ioniq 5

Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV

The electric crossover will be brought to India as a CBU unit. It will be the brand’s first model to be based on Hyundai’s EV dedicated E-GMP (Electric Global Modular) platform. In global markets, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 is offered with the 58kWh and 72.6kWh battery pack options. The latter one is claimed to deliver a range of 470/480km and compatible to 220kW DC charging. Hyundai Creta Facelift

The updated Hyundai Creta will make its first public appearance in India at the 2023 Auto Expo in January. The SUV features Hyundai’s new parametric grille merging well with the differently designed LED DRLs. Design bits such as more rectangular headlamps, sharper taillamps, tweaked rear bumper and redesigned boot lit further enhance its new look. In terms of features, the 2023 Hyundai Creta will have ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) along with the new digital instrument cluster, updated BlueLink connected car and more. 2023 Hyundai Verna Launch

The new 2023 Hyundai Verna is reported to witness a market launch by April. Most of the changes will be made to its exterior, while interior will get a few feature upgrades. The new Verna will be bigger and more spacious than before. It will feature Hyundai’s ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ design language along with the newly-designed grille, updated headlamps, front and rear bumpers, and new “H-Tail Lamp”. Inside, there will be an updated infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity, all digital instrument cluster and front ventilated seats.
