November 2022 was a good month for car manufacturers such as Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai Motors India, Tata Motors and MG Motor India. All aforementioned companies registered decent growth in the domestic market. Here’re key details of November 2022 car sales.

November 2022 Maruti Sales
With total sales of 1.59 lakh units, India’s largest passenger vehicle maker – Maruti Suzuki recorded a growth of 14.3 percent. The company managed to sell 91.095 units of the mini and compact cars and 32,563 units of the UVs (utility vehicles). The exports witnessed a decline of 7.7 percent (with 19,738 units) against the same month previous year.
November 2022 Hyundai Sales
Hyundai Motor India announced that the company retailed 48,003 units opposed to 37,001 units during the same month last year. It recorded YoY growth of 29.7 percent. Its exports stood at 16,001 units. That means, the South Korean automaker posted total sales of 64,004 units.
November 2022 Tata Sales
Tata Motors recorded a cumulative sales of 75,478 units against 62,192 units during the same period in 2021. The carmaker witnessed a YoY sales growth of 21.36 percent. In the domestic market, Tata managed to retail 73,467 units as opposed to 58,073 units in November 2021. It registered a YoY growth of 27 percent. One must note that the company sold 11,896 units in the MH & ICV segments and 46,037 units in the passenger vehicle (PV) space. In the PV segment, Tata recorded a YoY sales growth of 55 percent.
November 2022 Mahindra Sales
Mahindra & Mahindra passenger vehicles’ sales increased by 56 percent with 30,392 units and the domestic tractor sales rose 12 percent with 29,180 units. The company exported 1,348 units of tractors, which 15 percent less than the same month last year.
November 2022 MG Sales
MG Motor India announced that the company sold 4,079 units as against 2,481 units in the same month last year. It posted a YoY sales growth of 64.4 percent. The British automaker is gearing up to unveil the updated MG Hector in December, which will be followed by its launch in January 2023.
