Maruti Suzuki has started accepting pre-bookings for the new-generation Brezza that’s slated to go on sale on 30th June 2022. Similar to the current generation, the new one will be retailed via Area dealerships. Official details of the model are yet to be revealed. Though, the leaked brochure scans confirmed that the new 2022 Maruti Brezza will come in 4 trims – LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+
All variants will be powered by a new 1.5L K15C smart hybrid petrol engine making power worth 103bhp and 136.8Nm of torque. Initially, the new Brezza will be offered with a gasoline motor only. The carmaker will introduce its CNG version at a later stage.
The subcompact SUV will continue to come with a 5-speed manual gearbox, while a 4-speed torque convertor automatic transmission will be replaced with a new 6-speed unit. The leaked brochure reveal that new Brezza’s all four trims will be available with the manual gearbox. The VXi, ZXi and ZXi + will be exclusively offered with the new automatic gearbox.
The new 2022 Maruti Brezza will be made available in 6 monotone and 3 dual-tone colour schemes. The monotone palette will include Sizzling Red, Prime Splendid Silver, Pearl Brave Khaki, Metallic Magma Grey, Pearl Arctic White and Exuberant Blue. In terms of features, the new Brezza will have lots of new goodies on offer. It will get a 9-inch free standing touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The subcompact will also borrow a 360 degree camera and Head-Up-Display (HUD) from the new Baleno hatchback. There will be a new instrument cluster, a new-designed steering wheel, connected car technology (Suzuki Connect) and a sunroof.
