Official bookings for the new-generation Maruti Brezza subcompact SUV have been commenced across the nation. Interested buyers can pre-book the model by paying an initial sum of Rs 11,000 at any Arena showroom or online at the company’s official website. The carmaker has also released the first teaser image of the new 2022 Maruti Brezza showing its silhouette and LED headlamps. It also confirms that the SUV comes with an electric sunroof.
Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Director of Marking & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India said that the all-new Brezza has been packed with new-age tech feature and it offers “commanding driving stance, and muscular and aggressive looks”. It’s claimed to come with “an enhance Design, Performance, Technology and Safety features”.
The company has also confirmed that the new 2022 Maruti Brezza will employ the next-generation Hybrid K-Series engine borrowed from the updated Ertiga. It’s 1.5L, 4-cylinder K15C Dualjet petrol engine is good enough for 103bhp and 136.8Nm. The subcompact SUV will also be made available with the CNG kit option. The new Maruti Brezza 2022 will also be high on safety. The carmaker has revealed that the subcompact SUV will get 6 airbags and electronic stability program (ESP). There might also be the hill hold assist and tyre pressure monitoring system. While the company hasn’t yet revealed its features, the all-new Brezza is likely to be equipped with an updated touchscreen infotainment system. The list will also include a 360 degree camera, Head-Up Display (HUD), twin-dial instrument cluster, rear AC vents, new-gen telematics and more.
Major changes will also be made to its exterior. With all aforementioned updates, the new 2022 Maruti Brezza is likely to witness a price hike of up to Rs 40,000 – Rs 50,000. Currently, it comes within the price range of Rs 7.84 lakh – Rs 11.49 lakh (all, ex-showroom).
