Fresh images of the upcoming 2022 Maruti Brezza have emerged on the web. The pictures reveal its front and rear design details and interior features. Upfront, the SUV carries new dual LED projector headlamps with floating DRLs, newly-designed grille and LED fog lamps. The all around body cladding, new Lightron LED taillamps, updated rear signature and larger rear quarter area further distinguish it from the current generation. Inside, the new Brezza a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with SmartPlay Pro interface. The unit will support both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. You can notice the new flat-bottom steering wheel with mounted controls.
With the generation change, the Brezza will receive a 360 degree camera, an electric sunroof, Head-Up-Display, a new instrument cluster and rear fast charger USB ports. The carmaker will also be classed up its material quality and widen its rear seat.
The 2022 Maruti Brezza will get electronic stability program (ESP) as standard safety fitment. It will also come with the 6 airbags, hill hold assist and rear parking camera. Though, these aforementioned features could be reserved for the higher trims.
Significant changes will also be made under the hood. The new Brezza will derive its power from a new K15C Smart Hybrid petrol engine benefited with Dual VVT and Dualjet technology. Its NHV levels will also be better than before. The old 4-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox will be replaced with a new 6-speed unit. A 5-speed manual transmission will continue to come as standard.
Buyers will have four new exterior colour options along with the regular shades. The new paint schemes will include Brave Khaki, Splendid Silver, Magma Grey and Exuberant Blue. There will be three dual-tone colour schemes – Red & Black, Silver & Khaki and Khaki & White.
