2020 Tata Nexon Facelift Spotted Fully Uncovered; Gets Sunroof
Images of the production-ready 2020 Tata Nexon facelift have recently surfaced on the web. This time around, the SUV was spotted completely uncovered during its TVC shoot. The pictures confirm that the updated version of the subcompact SUV will come with an electric sunroof. Though, there is no clarity whether the sunroof unit will be factory fitted or come as an official accessory. Just so you know, the pre-facelift Tata Nexon comes with the aftermarket sunroof unit.
The 2020 Tata Nexon facelift will be made available in a total of 8 variants – XE, XM, XMA, XZ, XZ+, XZA+, XZ (O) and XZA+ (O). Buyers will have 6 colour options to choose from – Calgary White, Tectonic Blue, Foliage, Pure Silver, Flame Red and Daytona Grey.
Most of its design bits are carried over from the upcoming Tata Nexon EV electric SUV. Upfront, the 2020 Tata Nexon facelift gets a slimmer grille, revised bumper, newly-designed headlamps with new DRLs, new fog lamp clusters and a revised bonnet.
Features such as dual-tone roof, 16-inch diamond cut alloys, height adjustable driver seat, rear defogger, a large central console with front arm rest, automatic headlamps, cruise control and rain sensing wipers are reserved for the top-end trim. Comprehensive changes will also be made to its interior. Similar to the Nexon EV, the 2020 Tata Nexon facelift gets a new flat bottom steering wheel.
Engine setup of the 2020 Tata Nexon facelift will include the BS6-compliant version of the existing 1.2L turbo Revotron petrol and 1.5L turbo Revotorq diesel engines. The gasoline unit makes 110PS with 170Nm and the oil burner delivers 110PS with 260Nm. Transmission choices will include the same 6-speed manual and 6-speed AMT units.
