Prices of the 2020 Royal Enfield Himalayan BS6 have been leaked ahead of its launch. The updated version of the bike will be made available in three colours – Snow White/Granite Black, Sleet Grey and dual-tone (Lake Blue, Rock Red and Gravel Grey). While the Himalayan Snow White/Granite Black has been priced at Rs 1.86 lakh, the Himalayan Sleet Grey costs Rs 1.89 lakh.

BS6 Royal Enfield Himalayan Launch

The 2020 Royal Enfield Himalayan dual-tone model comes with a price tag of Rs 1.91 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom Chennai. Bookings of the bike have already started across the nation. Buyers can pre-book it by paying a token amount of Rs 10,000. In fact, deliveries of the 2020 Royal Enfield Himalayan BS6 have been commenced at select dealerships. Unlike the old model that comes with MRF tryes, the 2020 Royal Enfield Himalayan BS6 has been assembled with CEAT tyres. Reports suggest that the 21-inch front wheel is replaced with 19-inch wheel. No changes have been made to its dimensions.

Powering the 2020 Royal Enfield Himalayan is the BS6-compliant 411cc, single-cylinder, four stroke, air-cooled engine. In BS4 format, it delivers a maximum power of 24.5bhp at 6500rpm and 32Nm of torque at 4250rpm. Transmission too remains unchanged – i.e. 5-speed unit. Similar to the old model, the 2020 Royal Enfield Himalayan BS6 comes fitted with telescopic front fork and monoshock rear suspension unit. Its braking system consists of a 300mm 2 piston floating calliper front disc brake and a 240mm, single piston rear disc brake along with the ABS.
