2020 Hyundai Creta Interior Spy Pics Reveal Interesting Details
The second-generation Hyundai Creta was recently unveiled for the Indian market at Auto Expo 2020. We have seen its significantly revised styling, but what we haven’t is its interior. Though, there are a few spy pictures of the India-bound 2020 Hyundai Creta revealing its unique features. Compared to the Chinese ix25, the interior of the India-spec model looks different and have unique features to offer.
For the very first time, the Hyundai Creta will get the electronic parking brake (EPB) that not only restricts the vehicle’s movement when it’s parked, but prevents forward and reverse motion as well. The steering wheel seems inspired by the new-generation Hyundai Sonata. The unit has mounted controls for Bluetooth telephony, audio and cruise control.
The newly-designed dashboard and AC vent further mark distinction to its interior. In the pictures, you can notice the infotainment system is positioned just below the AC vents. Rumour has it that the 2020 Hyundai Creta might get a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit as we have seen in the Kia Seltos. The dual-tone black and beige interior theme with perforated seats featuring criss-cross design is exactly similar to the ix25. The India-bound model will have a panoramic sunroof. Features such as wireless charging and cooled seats might also be on offer. Though, it could be reserved for the top-end trim.
In India, the 2020 Hyundai Creta will be offered with three engine options – the naturally aspirated 115bhp, 1.5L petrol, 1.5L turbo diesel and 115bhp, 1.4L turbo petrol. The Seltos’ 1.4L turbocharged gasoline motor could be introduced with a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, but at a later stage. The 1.5L petrol will come with a 6-speed manual and a CVT automatic transmission, while the 1.5L oil burner will get a 5-speed manual and a torque converter automatic gearbox.
