Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Turbo Prices Leaked; Unofficial Bookings Open

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios turbo, the more powerful version of the hatchback, made its public debut at the recently-concluded Auto Expo 2020. While the official launch of the new variant will take place in coming weeks, its prices have been leaked on the web.

As per the leaked document, the Grand i10 Nios Turbo petrol will come in two variants – Sportz and Sportz DT (dual-tone) – priced at Rs 7.68 lakh and Rs 7.73 lakh (ex-showroom). This makes the turbo petrol around Rs 1.25 lakh – Rs 1 lakh more expensive than the regular manual petrol Sportz variants that cost Rs 6.43 lakh and Rs 6.73 lakh (all, ex-showroom) respectively.

For power, the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios turbo uses a 1.0L petrol engine that’s good for 118bhp and 172Nm of torque. It’s the same engine that does duty in the Aura compact sedan. Besides the more powerful engine, the turbo variant receives minor cosmetic upgrades making it sportier than the regular model. The Grand i10 Nios turbo features a blacked out radiator grille, revised front and rear bumpers, ‘Turbo’ badging on the front grille and boot and dual-tone colour scheme.

The sporty theme continues inside the as well. The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios turbo comes with the all-black interior and contrasting red stitching. Similar to the standard Sportz variant, it offers an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and voice recognition. The list of features also includes a 5.3-inch part-digital multi-information display, gloss black dash inserts, automatic climate control with eco coating, cooled glove box, Arkamys premium sound system, chrome-finished gear lever, 14-inch alloys with gun metal finish, rear defogger, projector headlamps, rear parking camera and more.
