2020 BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS Spotted Ahead Of Launch
2020 BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS facelifts were recently caught on camera during their test rounds. Both motorcycles receive subtle cosmetic changes along with a few feature upgrades. Talking about the 2020 BMW G 310 R, the bike’s bikini faring and headlamp appear more angular than before. The fuel tank and its extensions now carry sharper creases.
In fact, the plastic panels around the fuel tank are separated and bigger than the existing units. It also gets full LED lighting. The body panels, however, remain unchanged. The updated G 310 R is likely to get a revised exhaust system and a larger catalytic converter.
The 2020 BMW G 310 GS facelift, on the other hand, receives new full LED headlamp and LED turn signals. The smoked casing around the unit gives it a different look. The fuel tank shrouds appear sharper and the cladding with faux intakes looks more defined. Minimal changes might also be made to its rear section. The bike is likely to get a revised instrument cluster.
Powering the 2020 BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS will be the BS6-compliant version of the 313cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The power and torque figures of the updated motor are yet to be revealed. In its BS4 form, the engine pushes out a maximum power of 33bhp against a peak torque of 28Nm. The suspension and braking system of both the bikes are likely to remain unchanged.
Official launch date and details are yet to be revealed. Though, the 2020 BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS facelifts are expected to hit showrooms during the festive season.
