2019 TVS Apache RTR 200 FI E100 Launched at Rs 1.2 Lakh
Initially, the bike will be made available in Maharashtra, Karnataka and UP.
TVS Motor Company has finally introduced its first Ethanol-run motorcycle – TVS Apache RTR 200 Fi E100 – at Rs 1.2 lakh (ex-showroom). The bike, initially, will be made available in three states – Maharashtra, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh. Powering the TVS Apache RTR 200 Fi E100 is an E100 200cc, single-cylinder engine boosted with electronic fuel injection with twin-spray-twin-port system. This powertrain delivers better power with 50% less Benzene and Butadiene gas emissions. It pushes out a peak power of 20.7bhp at 8500rpm and 18.1Nm of torque at 7000rpm. The Ethanol-run bike is claimed to attain a top speed of 129kmph and accelerate 0 to 60kmph in 3.95 seconds.
Ethanol is renewable fuel source that helps reducing the carbon monoxide emission by up to 35%. It also reduces Sulphur Dioxide emission. The Ethanol-run bike is surely a more affordable alternative to the conventional petroleum fuels. Read – TVS Jupiter Scooter Lineup Updated
In terms of design, the TVS Apache RTR 200 Fi E100 is exactly similar to the petrol-powered model. Though, the green decals on the fuel tank mark a difference. Sitting on the double cradle split Synchro stiff frame, the bike’s Ethanol-run version uses the same 270mm upfront and 240mm petal rear brakes.
