2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF 155 Launched at Rs 1.09 lakh
The 2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF 155 comes with sporty changes both in terms of design and ergonomics.
Japanese two-wheeler maker, Suzuki has launched 2 new motorcycles – the Gixxer SF 250 and the 2019 Gixxer SF 155 in the Indian two-wheeler market. The new 155cc fully-faired motorcycle is available at a price tag of Rs 1.09 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The 2019 model comes with sporty changes both in terms of design and ergonomics.
The Suzuki Gixxer 155 comes with a lot sharper, with angular lines on the front fascia. It gets all-LED headlamp, while the instrument console is the LCD unit. The instrument console design is different, but it comes with similar set of functions available in the older model. Instead of the single-piece, the new motorcycle comes with raised clip-on handlebars. The new Gixxer 155 comes with new split seats, which offers more aggressive riding position.
At the back, the new Gixxer 155 comes with sleeker LED tail-lamp and the new dual-exist exhaust outlet. At the heart is a 154.9cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that also powers the previous model. This engine is capable of producing 14.8PS of power and 14Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the front wheel via a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Suspension mechanism of the 2019 Suzuki Gixxer 155 comprise of telescopic fork at the front and monoshock at the rear. The motorcycle comes with front and rear disc brakes along with the single-channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) as standard. The new motorcycle directly rivals the Yamaha Fazer 150.
