2018 Maruti S-Cross Launched With More Features; New Prices Inside
2018 Maruti S-Cross gets rear parking sensors, speed alert system and passenger seat belt reminder as standard.
Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest carmaker has introduced a more feature-loaded 2018 S-CROSS crossover in the market. The crossover is now equipped with rear parking sensors, speed alert system and passenger seat belt reminder as standard across all variants.
With these features, the new Maruti Suzuki S-Cross gets pricier by up to Rs 55,000. While the base Sigma is now priced at Rs 8.85 lakh up from Rs 8.61 lakh, the Delta trim is priced at Rs 9.97 lakh that is an increase of Rs 55,000. The Zeta and Alpha trims are priced at Rs 10.45 lakh and Rs 11.45 lakhs respectively, which were priced at Rs 9.98 lakh and 11.32 lakhs, respectively. The mid-spec variant of the 2018 Maruti S-Cross – Delta – is now more feature rich. This variant is now equipped with a smartkey feature with push-button start, which was earlier offered in the higher variants. Under the bonnet is the same 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine that churns out a maximum power output of 89bhp and a peak torque of 200Nm. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via a 5-speed gearbox.
