Aprilia Storm 125 scooter comes with off-road tyres along with a pack of accessories.
The Italian two-wheeler manufacturer, Aprilia has showcased an exciting range of bikes and scooters at the 14th edition of Delhi Auto Expo. While there were two 150cc motorcycles – Tuono 150 (semi-faired) and RS 150, the company also unveiled the Storm 125 scooter. The Aprilia Storm 125 is based on the SR 125 was recently launched at the Auto Expo 2018.
Designed for young urban buyers, the Aprilia Storm 125 makes use of the same 125cc, single-cylinder carburetted engine that also does duty in the SR 125. This motor can develop a top power of 10.5bhp at 7,250rpm and 9.9Nm of torque at 6,250rpm. Transmission has also been carried over from the SR 125 – i.e. CVT automatic. Unlike its donor sibling that features 14-inch wheels, the Aprilia Storm 125 comes fitted with smaller 12-inch wheels. The scooter also gets Vee Rubber-branded off-road tyres. The sizes of the front and rear tyres are 120/80 and 130/80 respectively. Aprilia is offering a pack of accessories with the scooter including a large windscreen, etc. This new 125cc scooter comes in bright paint schemes of Matte Yellow and Red. The Storm 125 recently made its official debut at the Auto Expo 2018. Piaggio hasn’t revealed the launch date and details of the vehicle yet.
