Mahindra & Mahindra, the homegrown Utility Vehicle maker has reintroduced the 2017 Mahindra Scorpio Adventure Edition in the Indian market. The new model is available in both 4×2 and 4×4 versions, priced at Rs 13.1 lakh and Rs 14.2 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) respectively. Talking about exterior upgrades, the 2017 Mahindra Scorpio Adventure gets new gun-metal alloy wheels, outside rear view mirrors with integrated blinkers, Adventure graphics across the side profile and revised taillamps with smoked treatment. The SUV also comes with a new Mist Silver and White dual-tone exterior paint job.
The new Adventure Edition is offered on the top-end Scorpio S10 grade, so most of the features are sourced from the regular variant. It comes equipped with dual-tone blue and black leather seat upholstery, rear view camera and leather wrapped steering, gear lever and armrests. There is an Adventure badge on the dashboard, giving it a distinctive look. This model features a 6-inch touchscreen AVN infotainment system. Dual airbags and ABS comes as standard fitment for safety.
Powering the 2017 Mahindra Scorpio Adventure is the same 2.2-litre four-cylinder mHawk diesel engine, which is coupled with an intelli-Hybrid technology. Paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox, this engine churns out a maximum power output of 120bhp at 4,000rpm and a peak torque of 280Nm between 1,800-2,800rpm.
