The company has offered the new Amaze a far more appealing profile, which is more premium and simple in looks. The new model continues to sit under 4 meter in length. It features a more balanced silhouette, a prominent bonnet and Accord-like front grille. It is visible that the Amaze sedan shares several design cues from the Accord, featuring bold design and sharper styling. The front fascia also gets new LED DRLs and new bumper. Other major changes include new dual-tone alloy wheels, LED tail-lamps and completely revamped rear profile. You May Also Like – New Honda Amaze Live Pictures From Auto Expo 2018

New Interior

The biggest change comes in the form of a more premium cabin. It comes with an all-new interior, featuring better quality material and fit and finish. Honda is aiming to grab the premium tag again, and the cabin design direction shows this as well. It comes with an all-new dashboard, clutter-free console and leather-wrapped steering wheel. The company has also added more sound-deadening materials to offer better NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) levels.

7-inch Touchscreen infotainment system

Unlike current model, the new Amaze is equipped with a new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system which is also available in the city sedan. This system is compatible with MirrorLink, in-built Navigation, rear parking camera and others.

New Platform

Honda has confirmed that the new Amaze compact sedan is built on an all-new platform, which is lighter, stiffer and safer. It is a versatile platform, which will also underpin a sub-4 meter SUV and next-gen Brio hatchback.

Diesel version with CVT automatic gearbox

The new Amaze sub-4 meter sedan will continue to feature the existing 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol and a 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine. However, both the engines will be tuned to offer better fuel efficiency and NVH levels. What’s interesting is that the Amaze diesel will also get a CVT automatic gearbox. This will make it the most affordable diesel CVT car in India.
