2020 Maruti Vitara Brezza Facelift – Petrol Mileage and Top Changes
Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the long-awaited Vitara Brezza facelift at the 2020 Delhi Auto Expo. The company has also started taking pre-orders, and interested buyers can book the new 2020 Maruti Vitara Brezza online. The SUV is scheduled to be launched in the next 15 days.
The updated Vitara Brezza facelift comes with cosmetic changes to exterior and interior; however, the biggest change is made under the bonnet. Adding to it, the company has also discontinued the existing 1.3L diesel engine from the Brezza line-up. The company has also added new comfort and convenience features to the Vitara Brezza line-up. Exterior Changes
In terms of design, the Maruti Vitara Brezza facelift looks similar to its predecessor; however, there are some changes in the form of updated front and rear profile. It is fitted with LED projector headlamps with LED DRLs and integrated turn indicators. It also gets revised LED tail-lamps and dual-tone diamond cut 16-inch alloy wheels.
Interior Changes

New touchscreen infotainment system
The SUV is equipped with new 7-inch Smartplay studio touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity. It also gives details about the vehicle alerts, Live traffic navigation and access to curated online content.
New Petrol engine with Smart hybrid system
The new Brezza comes packed with a new 1.5-litre petrol engine that also powers the Ciaz and the Ertiga. This engine is capable of producing 103bhp of power and 138Nm of torque. A five-speed manual gearbox driving the power to the front wheels come as standard. What’s interesting is that the Smart hybrid system is only available with the automatic version of the Vitara Brezza facelift. It gets a 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Mileage
The Vitara Brezza petrol with manual gearbox is claimed to return an ARAI certified fuel economy of 17.03kmpl. Interestingly, the petrol smart hybrid with automatic gearbox is more fuel efficient than the manual version. It is claimed to offer a certified fuel economy of 18.76kmpl.
New Color options
The Brezza facelift now comes in 3 new dual-tone exterior color options – Sizzling Red with midnight Black roof, Torque Blue with midnight Black roof and Granite grey with Autumn Orange roof.
