2020 Mahindra XUV500 New Rendering Shows Rugged Design
The India launch of the new-generation Mahindra XUV500 has been confirmed for the next fiscal year (starting from April, 2020). The SUV’s all-new model is likely to debut at the 2020 Auto Expo that will begin on 7th February in Greater Noida. We have seen multiple spy pictures and speculative renderings of the 2020 Mahindra XUV500. Though, the latest one shows it with rugged and evolved design.
Front fascia of the 2020 Mahindra XUV500 will share resemblance to the newly-launched XUV300 subcompact SUV. The revised front grille looks muscular. The SUV also features newly-designed headlamps and LED daytime running lights.
The side profile looks refreshing with new roofline, window line and newly-designed alloy wheels. The C-pillar appears more subtler than the existing one. Compared to the existing model, the 2020 Mahindra XUV500 will have more comfort and safety features to offer. Though, the official details are still under the wraps. Under the hood, the all-new model of the SUV will house a more powerful 2.2L BS6-compliant diesel engine promising 180bhp.
The new XUV500 can be had either with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The top-end trims will be exclusively offered with AWD (all-wheel-drive) system. On safety front, the 2020 Mahindra XUV500 will be a lot better than the existing model.
