Maruti Suzuki Cars To Get Expensive From 1st January 2020

Maruti Suzuki Price Hike

Maruti Suzuki has decided to increase the prices of its entire product lineup from 1st January, 2020 on the wake of rising input cost. The price hike is a part of cyclical price revision which has become a norm in the industry. Recently, Kia Motors has also made price hike announcement for its Seltos compact SUV.

As of now, the Indo-Japanese carmaker has not given the amount of the price increase. With this move, the company is likely to clear its 2018 manufacturing stock and increase sales figures. Amid of industry slowdown, Maruti Suzuki managed to secure its top position in the sales chart.

Maruti XL6 Accessories

This year, the Indo-Japanese carmaker rolled out two all-new models – XL6 crossover and S-Presso mini SUV. The company also upgraded its popular models to meet the upcoming BS6 emission norms that will come into effect from 1st April, 2020. The carmaker’s BS6-compliant lineup includes Maruti Alto, Swift, Dzire, WagonR, Baleno and Ciaz.

Talking about the upcoming Maruti Suzuki cars, the company is ready to give the first mid-life update to the Maruti Vitara Brezza. With the update, the subcompact SUV will receive a petrol powertrain. Rumour has it that the company will also foray into the premium compact SUV segment with an all-new model to challenge Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta and Nissan Kicks.
